This video was shown in a continuos loop
It represents the Imaginary stade in the RSI-theory of Jacques Lacan
For me it refers to the mirror stage in growing up. 
The portraits are taken on random days during a period of five months. Different light was used, but in the same (non studio) environment.

Lore - Lacan - Le Clercq is een zoektocht naar de persoon Lore op dit moment. Wie is Lore, wat heeft haar gevormd en waarom is ze wie ze is? Deze vragen heeft ze proberen te beantwoorden aan de hand van de RSI theorie van psychoanalist Jacques Lacan.

De theorie werd haar gepresenteerd door haar moeder. Op deze manier wordt het werk naast de persoonlijke zoektocht ook een wisselwerking tussen moeder en dochter. 

Lore - Lacan - Le Clercq bestaat uit drie luiken, elk te linken aan een onderdeel of stadium van de RSI-theorie. Toch zijn de grenzen vaag en kunnen de onderdelen niet los van elkaar gezien worden.

The video represents the important character of language in Lacan his theory.
It's also the foundation of my project and the collaboration with my mother.
